I have looked after my body from very early on. I am not sure why, but I have always enjoyed beauty routines and understanding what impact they have on my body. Later, through dance, I came to know my body better, the muscles, and what it needs to work well. It became clear that food is the main thing, and that almost everything revolves around what we eat.
On top of that, I felt it was time to change my eating habits further because of the state the planet is in, since meat is consumed to excess and the world’s eating habits lead to natural habitats being cleared for farming. So I decided it was time to change how I eat and move to a plant-based diet.
There is nothing better than recognising that each of us has a fundamental part to play in the planet’s sustainability, and having companies that share that concern.
Tipiak challenged me to try out some dishes with these products… which are excellent and very practical to cook with!

Knowing that Tipiak has environmental concerns, I take even more pleasure in receiving these products and in showing you the delicious things you can make. Some of their sustainability policies involve managing and reducing waste, cutting energy and water use and, in my opinion one of the most interesting factors, respecting the environment and natural resources.
I would go so far as to say Tipiak was the perfect combination for me: it fits my new way of eating and it has sustainability policies in place… Could it get any better?!
Anyone who knows me knows I love experimenting in the kitchen, and with this change of diet I challenge myself in the kitchen every day.
I started with the “Wholegrain Quinoa” and made portobello mushrooms stuffed with quinoa, baby spinach and eggs… Absolutely delicious! 🍳 🥗
There are so many delicious dishes that leave you completely satisfied and are very quick to make! (If my other half was happy, you will be too 😂)

That said, sometimes the kitchen laziness sets in, especially when I get home late and realise I have left nothing out to defrost. That is when I improvise, and for those moments the “Express Couscous” is excellent!
We genuinely like it in this house. It is great when I do not want to be in the kitchen for long, and a good alternative to pasta and rice 🍚 🍝
This time the result was couscous with sautéed vegetables alongside some lamb chops that were in the fridge.

Finally, the “Quinoa Gourmand” is a mix of two quinoas with bulgur which, as well as enriching the dish, brings a more intense flavour, and it was the perfect match for a lentil curry (a dish I genuinely love).

I hope you enjoy watching my adventures in the kitchen!
Tell me, would you like me to put the recipes for these dishes up here?
